Where’s my Instagram in Twitter?

Wondering why not all Instagram photos are showing up (or appear to be cropped) on Twitter posts? Well, that’s because Instagram has finally responded to Twitter’s turning off the “find Twitter friends” feature on Instagram. Confirmed by its CEO and co-founder Kevin Systrom, Instagram disabled integration with Twitter cards (that’s how photos and other media are displayed inside tweets) and will instead direct users to its own website, claiming it provides a better, interactive experience, what with its recently introduced web profiles and badges.

Twitter is said to be working on an Instagram-ish filter-finishing photo service, so don’t expect the two popular networks to be extra sociable.
